Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. On this day, people dress up as Halloween characters like witches, cats, bats, monsters, ghosts and pumpkins. The children usually do an activity called “Trick or treat”. They go to the homes of people they know and say: Trick, treat or something to eat. The householder is expected to give the children candies, chocolate or fruit like apples. People also do other activities such as carving jack-o'-lanterns, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films, etc.
