Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. On this day, people dress up as Halloween characters like witches, cats, bats, monsters, ghosts and pumpkins. The children usually do an activity called “Trick or treat”. They go to the homes of people they know and say: Trick, treat or something to eat. The householder is expected to give the children candies, chocolate or fruit like apples. People also do other activities such as carving jack-o'-lanterns, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films, etc.

Decorating for Halloween — Decorating is also another detail not to overlook. Add some fake spider webs and Jack-O'-Lanterns to the room, or hang a festive Halloween wreath or spooky topper on the inside of the door in order to create the appropriate atmosphere for the party. And then find a CD with some spooky but fun holiday tunes or play creepy noises or songs as background music.
Food & Beverage — Food and beverage are expendable items that must be purchased or created each year. Preparing your own treats can save money and usually tastes better when made by your favorite Halloween recipes. You can also throw a pot-luck party, where everyone brings different dishes or treats. This should be coordinated ahead of time, or your friends will bring almost the same food. It saves money in the long run.
Recipes for Halloween Cocktail — When you get together with friends or family in a Halloween cocktail party, liquor based drinks can be a great addition to an all adult Halloween party. Below are some top alcohol drink recipes just for Halloween. All recipes can be scaled up for larger amounts.

Get the Party Started — In the end, it is really more about the overall party than just the snacks. Keep in mind ways to add games, a costume contest and some ghost story telling for a holiday event that will be memorable. Consider the ages of the children who will be attending and make sure the scare factor and food items are age appropriate.
Let’s move and give your families a fun Halloween!
